Burning Man

Isn't it funny how you go to a website, not even thinking about or looking for something that you end up discovering and it puts a smile on your face or makes you feel fuzzy? Well, today I went to youtube. Somehow I came upon a Concrete Blonde video. The person who posted it even posted a few bits of current information about Johnette Napolitano, the best underrated female singer! I discovered she has a myspace account! I read her blog and I sent her a message. I got one back tonight. That's awesome. I recently emailed Iggy Pop on there and he replied as well. I know both of these profiles are authentic. Anyway, Johnette blogged about Burning Man. I've been sitting here reading about it and it does sound very unique. I'm interested. I looked at photos and there is some awesome artwork and photography. I don't see how people bring all the materials they need, along with all the supplies needed to camp for a week. I'd like to know how many people from the east coast attend this. It would be so expensive to get there by plane and buy everything you need there. I'm sure it'd be equally expensive to drive all the way in a car or RV. I'd love to go in a nice RV. You're just not allowed to leave anything behind! So many obstacles!

Hmm, not sure what all you were talking about there. But did I pick up on the hint that you'd like to go camping? Oh wait, you said a NICE RV, that's not camping! ha!!
I've got a tent I could loan you if you want to rough-it. ;)

Thanks, but I just don't think I'd last in a tent for a week in the Black Rock Desert! This would be so cool to do, but I might as well be going to Hawaii for how much it would cost.

Well hell, what more do you want? I included a link to Burning Man! It is this big event where people make art, have their cars decorated as some kind of expression, and/or where costumes. There's no vending allowed. The whole thing is about giving. The only thing sold there is ice and coffee. They call it forming a temporary community (city) and when it's over with, there shall be no trace that it existed. The part that sucks is that you have to take all of your garbage with you.
