Temporomandibular joint

Well, believe it or not I've wondered about the TMJ thing since this ordeal has been going on. It was just in the back of my mind. I'm seeing all these professionals from neurologist to physicians to physical therapists. Why wouldn't any of them even touch on the subject? I called my orthodontist earlier and he doesn't handle TMJ. He referred me to someone else. I have an appointment next Thursday. The receptionist told me the initial appointment will last two hours! Hell, two hours is nothing compared to what I've been through. My eyes are burning and bloodshot from lack of sleep. I just want to go out in the desert and scream and/or bury my head in the sand. I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing me bitch, but if you had this continuous pain all around your helmet you'd bitch too!
When I researched TMJ weeks ago I discovered that it is tough to treat because the TMJ area is one that doesn't get much blood.

Remember when Aunt Peg got hair extensions?

That's funny. Girl got a weave up in her head. I was stopping at the ATM this morning when I passed a hair salon that had their services sprawled out over awnings; namely hair extensions. I laughed to myself.
For a brief moment this morning I didn't have a headache! I picked out some music for my morning. It was a CD I had lying around waiting for me to put some of it on my iPod. I played "Tom's Diner" while in the shower. Somehow that made me think "Funky cold medina" while under the hot water.
It was good while it lasted. I'm sitting here at work waiting for this Dolgic to kick in. Maybe I'd feel better if I went and broke a bunch of glass. I need to take out some frustration!
I was informed yesterday that if I don't start back to school in January that I have to start paying something, whatever I can afford (like $10), a month on my student loans. I haven't been to school since the 18 of October and I can't say I'm any better than I was a month ago. Maybe I can claim having to start repaying in the lawsuit. I'd love to be headache free in a few weeks, but I can't get high hopes after this has been part of my daily life for weeks, if not months now.
On a good note, I will be able to take my online class again. The medical W is looked at differently than the regular W.
I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep tonight if I have to bludgeon myself with a frozen leg of lamb!
I went to the parents' last night. The tile and carpet is laid!!!!!!! They were celebrating and the house looks and feels like a different house. Funky cold medina indeed.

I'd cry if it'd make it go away

It's almost 4 in the morning and I have had no sleep tonight. I've had a headache in the back of my head since around 10. I was determined not to take anything for it because nothing helps and I'm tired of all these medicines. After still being awake at 2:30 I took a vicoprofin. All it has done is directed some of the ache to my forehead and temples.
This is awful. Its making me moody. I feel like I'm out of options. P.T. doesn't help. Chiropractor isn't doing the trick. My doctor and the neurologist have yet to offer up something that works. Going for a follow-up with my doc Friday was a total waste. I told him how they've gotten no better. I left there with no advice and no different prescription.
More disaster struck at the Ernspiker house on Saturday. They guys working on the kitchen floor drove a nail into the water line for the refrigerator! Apparently they didn't hear it and kept on working. I don't know who noticed it, but it had been going long enough to make the ceiling in the garage fall through and ruin their new leather sofa!
My Mom still sounds awful from strep she got last week. I know they're about to go crazy too. They both stayed with me last night. All of their appliances are in the living room. It does no good to clean anything.
I know this is a gloom n' doom blog, but I had to vent. I'm about to go ahead and take a shower and be ready to leave here around 7:30. I heard some freezing rain coming down hours ago. I know I brought an ice scraper here when I moved in.
Hope everyone else had a great weekend and never gets untreatable headaches!

PS3 and slobs

I read all about the idiots that camped out for three days to get an expensive Sony Playstation 3. People were shot with bb guns in Lexington while waiting in line. I just think its crazy what people will do for some instant gratification.

How lazy and nasty can people be? Look at these nasty cars. Better yet, read the descriptions. "My kids don't know what a trash can is." Who's to blame for that? Apparently the parents don't know what one is either. Is winning a new car really the answer here?

I hope everyone has a good weekend! Maybe it'll be dry and filled with some sunshine!

Its Funny to Me

Months back I was channel surfing when I found the "Metro in the Park family concert series." I really wish I could've captured it. There was live country music and many a line dancers in Iroquois Park. Well, I happened upon another one of those series last night. I have posted the best moments on youtube. Pump up the volume! Here are the individual links:
