Have you heard about the shortage of gasoline in some areas of the country because of the lack of ethanol? Apparently the government is sticking it to us even more with this mandate. I'm amazed that Hope Rippey could be released from prison so soon. She sprayed Windex on Shanda Sharer's open wounds and even poured the gas on her that was used to burn her alive. It was bad enough when Toni Lawrence was released in 2000. I had read that Hope was scheduled for release in October of this year. I never thought it would happen. What judge in their right mind, especially after three appeals from Shanda's Mom, would look at this case and take so many years off of a sentence?

Whistleblower

Apparently Jefferson county schools don't take a student bringing a gun to school that serious. I was informed yesterday that an eighth grader was SUSPENDED for 6 DAYS for bringing a gun to school yesterday! I'd really like to send an email to a local news station. I just need to remain anonymous for obvious reasons.

Fooled around and fell in love

I don't like that song. I don't like doing work with Microsoft Excel all that much either. I got my exam over the first three chapters done. I'm working on chapter 4's assignments now. I've been bad about procrastinating this quarter. We had a mother duck and her 10 babies come into the shop today. That was about the most exciting thing that happened today. I nearly wiped out my checking account today too. But, at least the money's going for my future. I was told I can't get into that money until I'm 59 without being penalized. 59! Now I need some knowledge on short-term investments, like 10 years or so. A woman came with her daughter and two teenaged boys to look at the bimmer today. This makes the fourth person. The daughter doesn't know how to drive a stick. That isn't stopping her from liking the car though. Her Mom said they'd see what insurance would run and get back with us. Gee, I haven't heard that before. How much can a 1998 four cylinder sedan be for a teenager? Nothing is cheap, especially car insurance for a new driver. I haven't even checked my assignments for this week in my other classes. They're not due until this weekend and I didn't want to be overwhelmed with this exam that was due today. "Fooled around and fell in love....." or "Hold the line! Love isn't always on time. No, no, no." I think I'll stick with my CDs.

Nothing out of the ordinary
I sure am glad one Derby event is over. I've never been much of a Derby fan. Hell, an Ostrich can outrun a damn horse. Go bet on that, dumb rich man.
Needless to say, I didn't go to Thunder. I went last year in the freezing cold. I wasn't feeling it this year. I still had plenty of excitement in my life. Jamie and I didn't make to Headliner's until 2 a.m. A forgotten wallet and an attempt to buy alcohol got her thrown out as soon as we got in. She talked to this older cop and he gave her wrist band. We were already off to a good start. She had pissed her boyfriend off for even going. We went to this guy's apartment when we got back. He has a recording studio set up in his apartment with some very nice ($150,000) equipment. I guess we were there about an hour or so before Jamie fell asleep, I mean passed out on the couch. These nasty girls came over, apparently after spending the night doing none other than stripping. I tried to wake Jamie up, but it was of no use. I hung out and tried to learn something about Pro Tools 7.0 until I couldn't take anymore of the girls who were now baking cinnamon rolls. I told Brian I was leaving Jamie there and I went upstairs to her apt and crashed.
I went looking at bikes last night. I found one I want at Wal-Mart of all places. I'll probably go get that Wednesday. I have homework and an exam to work on tonight and most likely tomorrow night. I didn't do near as well on the latest accounting exam as I did on the last one.

Would You Like Me If I Looked Like This?

Indonesians vandalized the Playboy office over there last Wednesday (4/12). I just love this photo. If you can take your focus off of his face for just a minute, look at that finger! Give that hat back to the man in the kitchen at Steak N Shake.
Ah fahcoozy Dembella! Give me the power I beg of you!

I caught the last part of a show on A&E last night about copy cat murders from horror movies. Some of the movies mentioned were: "Scream 1 & 2" and "Child's Play 3!." Child's Play movies are responsible for murders? If any Child's Play movie entices someone to murder, then "Throw Mama from the Train" should be included too. I find such humor in Chuckie that I dedicated this blog, The Lakeshore Strangler, to him, Charles Lee Ray.

No Empathy
This is funny. This is funny too. I just had a lady come in here with a $500 deductible asking me if we had a payment plan. NO. We need our money NOW, just like everyone else in this land of milk and honey. When I told her we didn't have a payment plan she said she didn't know when she'd ever have the money. Does that mean if we did have a payment plan she would never pay it? Don't you wish everybody worked for free?
Sandie Von Handel

In case you're wondering, Sandy Von Handel is the name of some woman that works for AT&T. Apparently she's the brains behind an email my Mom forwarded to me about never dialing these specific area codes. (809, 284, & 876) You'll be charged an outrageous fee and you'll have to file bankruptcy, sell your body, and blame it on Scooter Libbey.
I have a meeting on the 25th with a financial advisor. That ought to be fun. I have a lot of questions.
I finished all my homework last night that was due today. Now I have more work that's due Saturday night. I have a test that opens Sunday and is due Tuesday at midnight. I also have an Accounting test due Sunday night. I'll never take 4 classes again!
I wanted to buy a decent bike, but if I'm about to open an IRA or something then I better hang on to what money I'll have left.

No need for a trial.
Why are tax dollars even being wasted on a trial for this bastard, Zacarias Moussaoui? This man needs to be tortured long and slow. I'd gladly volunteer to help out by any means necessary.
Crazy ass people

Upon reading Pita Woman's latest entry, I got to thinking about some crazy people. I remember Julia working with a girl that lived over off Tucker Station Rd in Middletown. She had a crazy neighbor who would stand out by a traffic light and take pictures of people's license plates! She was seriously schizo. I think she got hauled off to the "institute" as Shirley Q calls it. Maybe they shocked her head.

New blog, same ole, same ole
I think using this site will be much easier than livejournal. I've been stopped up since Saturday morning. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow morning. My daily doses of Singulair, Rhinocort, and Advair aren't doing a thing for me. I got the sniffles. I have a cough. I sneeze a lot. We had the 318i sitting up at the bank for a few hours Sunday afternoon. This guy (20) came to look at it with his Dad. He was supposedly really interested and had $10k. He was going to see what insurance would run on Monday and call us. That never happened. A woman that called my Dad about the car on Friday happened to call last night and came to look at it. She called a few hours after that and said she wanted to make a deposit on it. She had the nerve to ask if she gave $5k could she take the car! Yeah, bitch...we trust you. ha. Well, she was supposed to bring us $5k today to hold the car for a couple weeks. She never called or anything. Something's got to give. My Mom is employee of the month this month. Isn't that awesome? Personally, I think she's the best person there. She really loves the kids and does so much for her office aides. She should be employee of the month every month! I'll have to take a picture of the sign out front. Maybe I'll go have lunch with her tomorrow so I can take one.
